It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas....

Even though there is no official holiday here in Taiwan for Christmas, many stores sell Christmas tress, ornaments, etc. I (Keith) was sitting in Starbucks today studying Chinese, and they were playing English Christmas songs. The weather has even turned much cooler within the past few days to put us in the Christmas mood. The pictures you see are Christmas decorations in our apartment. Our stockings are hanging off of a shelf since we have no mantle (family members - notice Page finally finished Levi's stocking after 5 years!! :)), and we even have a tree donated to us from a journeyman who left in May (thanks, Sarah -- it looks nice). We have a couple of outreach events going on during this Christmas season, and it is our prayer that our friends and teachers who do not know Jesus will come to know the true meaning behind Christmas and accept Him as Savior and Lord in their lives.

Hey Curlees. Just received the latest Curlee Connection. That's a great family picture. Looks like a fun day of hiking.

How nice that you guys were able to get a Christmas tree. It looks festive at your apartment!

Love ya'll,

Monica

Hello from the Burney's. We wanted you to know that we pray for you everyday. We miss you all. Page, I wore the blue snowman sweater in one of the Christmas performances and thought of you. Hope everyone is over the chicken pox now. I worked at the food pantry today and I prayed with two people who prayed to accept Christ today. I know that your hearts desire is to see people there come to know our Lord. Take care.

I love your Christmas tree and stockings. Page, I am so impressed that you finished Levi's stocking. David's stocking only has DAV on it and Rachel and Landon have a store bought one. Maybe one day I will find time to finish David's and do one for the other two. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

Love,
