Everywhere you turn here in Taipei, you see construction going on. In fact, right outside our apartment a new apartment building is going up. It is not unusual for our road to be blocked for an entire day because of this construction. This picture was taken from our balcony. I don't know if you can tell but a forklift is holding a car up in the air as they do work because apparently it was in the way!!! (You can click on the picture to enlarge.) We are looking forward to the day that this apartment building is finished.

That picture looks a lot like one we sent home to our folks of construction where we lived in Okinawa. Things haven't changed much!
